The students were divided into international working teams (2 foreign students/2Italian students). They were guided to create presentations about food, holidays,monuments, sports, school systems,interesting cities of their home country.

The working teams were then divided into three classrooms. In each classroom a different presentation tool was introduced and the students created their presentation using one of the following visual learning platforms.

.- Thinglink 

.- Glogster Poster

During the working sessions the Italian host students supervised the guest students and worked as experts of their respective presentation tool.In their last workshop session the students had in-class performances in which they practiced and voted for the best result. At the end of the week the best results were presented in the assembly hall.

Furthermore,the students participated in an interactive exhibition called ,,Antropocene»» by Burtynsky (photography), Baichwal (film) and de Pencier (film). In this modern exhibition the students experienced the collision between humans and nature via new media (use of iPads, apps, short movies, hologram pictures, touchscreen puzzles,experiments and optical illusions).

During the whole week a group of reporters made auf host and guest students was responsible to document the whole project week and to create a webpage with pictures, reports and  nterviews.»

The aims of this project week were to acquire knowledge of various presentation tools and techniques that will be useful for their future school and job career to engage into decision making processes in their working groups using English as a language Franca to increase their intercultural knowledge and competence when interviewing other students and teachers to create interesting and informative presentations combined with visual aids.
